18/05/1941 - Messerschmitt Bf110 

Although not a local crash as such, but still of local interest is the fact that on the 18th May 1941 the wreckage of Rudolf Hess's Bf110 arrived at Speke on its way south to Oxford which crashed in Scotland on the 10th May 1941after Hess bailed out.
