On the 28th January 1942 DeHaviland Tiger Moth No BB752 of No 21 Elementary Flying Training school at RAF Booker was being flown by a Leading Aircraftsman K. C. Nash who was carrying out solo circuits and landings, it was during this practice he lost his bearings and attempted to land at a strange airfield.
Apparently he decided to go around again after attempting to land and failed to "get the engine on" he then stalled and crashed in from about 30 feet at Garston sustaining slight injuries.
DeHaviland Tiger Moth No BB752 was originally a civilian aircraft No G-ADLZ.
